Data Logger Documentation

The SAHRA Data Logger's purpose is to replace expensive, dedicated data loggers with PDAs. PDAs are inherently more mobile and versatile as well as significantly less expensive and more power efficient than traditional data loggers. This software package will allow you to both log data collected from a water meter and convert it into a standard spreadsheet format on your desktop or laptop. This spreadsheet representation of the data can then be graphed to allow you to visualize the data collected.

Before you use and run the SAHRA Data Logger it is suggested that you have some experience operating a Handspring Visor or a Palm Pilot. Most of the instructions included in this ReadMe are relatively straightforward and will accomodate those less familiar with PalmOS devices, but any experience with PDAs will make operation of the software much easier.

If you don't know where to begin, you should probably start with the second section on the menu to the left, Installing the Software Package. If you already have installed all the needed software on your Visor and Desktop, you should be able to go straight to the third section Setting up Data Logger.
