& SPA FILTER BACKWASH The filters in swimming pools and outdoor spas are periodically backwashed to remove collected material. This water can be directed onto turf or other landscaping plants. Constructing shallow basins around trees and shrubs located near the filters will facilitate reuse of this water. When draining your pool, try to use the water for some constructive purpose, such as watering the lawn. |
