Summary/Goals:
This project is funded under a Center-Directed Initiatives grant through the Water Sustainability Program and reports on a fiscal year basis.

This is a joint effort of SAHRA, WSP, and UA Cooperative Extension to provide information and assistance to domestic well owners, most residing in rural Arizona.
Activities and outcomes during past year:
Each project partner has contributed financial and human resources. End products include: 2 workshops for well owners, one each in Yavapai (Verde River) and Cochise (Upper San Pedro) counties; a series of brief (typically 2-page, 1-sheet) information flyers on various aspects of well ownership and available information sources; and print- and web-based versions of a longer handbook authored by Janick Artiola loosely based on "Arizona Know Your Water." This project has experienced multiple delays in completing these tasks. The two county workshops, originally scheduled by Cooperative Extension for February and May, have not yet taken place. The brief information flyers, including one on the Arizona Wells web service, have been written or updated from existing flyers, and currently are undergoing editing. The longer booklet is currently in rough draft form.

Plans for the upcoming year:
Unknown.
