Summary/Goals: Working with the outreach committee of the USPP since spring of 2005, SAHRA produced 6 science fact sheets based on Partnership sponsored research for public stakeholder engagement purposes, and 2 science documents for internal use by the Partnership.
SAHRA also developed pseudo-fact sheets related to its activities in the areas of towers and transects, riparian systems, water demand, isotopic tracers, remote sensing, and integrated modeling, which were incorporated into an informational brochure in Octo. 2006. This project may also link with fact sheets being solicited for scenario development.
Activities and outcomes during past year:
After multiple delays SAHRA produced and delivered 6 high quality public fact sheets for use in the Sierra Vista sub-watershed region in late November 2005. USPP members also attended our successful stakeholder engagement sessions at the annual meeting.
Plans for the upcoming year:
In late 2006 and 2007, this work will evolve to a focus by the Scenario Development Group on fact sheets related to integrated models and scenarios.
