Summary/Goals:
SAHRA developed and continues to enhance a Web site, content, and Web-based services for the Global Network on Water and Development Information for Arid Lands (GWADI). The site includes: home page with dynamic content; secure side for remote data entry; reference modules for researchers on specific topics such as hydrologic isotopes; searchable databases on research efforts; surface and groundwater modeling; Global Water News Watch "News Tracker" email subscriptions; and educational resource sharing.
Activities and outcomes during past year:
The GWADI website was further enhanced this reporting period and presently includes the features listed in the summary, except for searchable databases on research efforts. The HyDis portion being developed at Irvine now has a simplified user interface for remote sensing data. Subscriptions to the Global Water Newswatch Email Tracker service increased 32% in the last year to 732. In addition, a pamphlet and several third-page flyers were designed and printed. GWADI has committed to continued funding for CY2008-09 to further develop the site as described under "Plans".

Plans for the upcoming year:
Add information on Managed Aquifer Recharge and create a searchable database on isotope case studies. Produce a 24-page full cover booklet on G-WADI.
