Basin focus: Regional SW
Specific area in

field sites:

Summary/Goals:
The Outreach Connection Website was developed to enable water educators in the Tucson region to share information about their outreach and education efforts.

This is a participant-updated website that focuses on water resources and water quality outreach and education, in order to enable outreach personnel from various agencies in Arizona who are working on water issues to better communicate.
Activities and outcomes during past year:
-- 2006
A bookmark promoting the website was created during the year.
Mead continues to monitor website activity each month, reminding users to keep records updated.

-- 2005
A new URL was created for this website to begin promoting it in several agencies:
http://outreachconnection.org
After this an email was sent to the participants to update their materials.
There was an article on the Tucson Citizen about this website to offically make it public.

-- 2004
The interactive website was established and demonstrated for PAG Water Education users in January 2004. Some improvements based on user feedback were implemented. Participants have started to input organization information, resources, and calendar entries.

Plans for the upcoming year:
-- 2007
No specific plans for next year.

-- 2006
Claire Zucker will create a bookmark with the intention to promote the website
She will be monitoring updates and regularly contacting users asking to update their materials.
Very probably she will also create other promotional materials during the year.

-- 2005
Although the project was finished on April 2004, there is a Review Meeting planned for Dec. 2004. Feedback of the system is expected, thus is very possible that some development (minor changes) are going to be programmed early 2005.
