How to get involved:

Tucson Arundo, is looking for students, citizen volunteers, and civic and professional organizations (scouts, 4-H, Audubon, Rotary, etc.) who are interested in volunteering to help us remove this invasive plant

Please review the calendar below for available dates and contact us to reserve a date for your group. We recommend teams of 4-6, depending upon what area you are working in. In general, we will try and reserve Saturdays for organized groups and Sundays for groups of unrelated individuals.

All team members should be in good shape and are responsible for bringing their own gear: boots, hat, long-sleave shirt, sun glasses, sun screen, day pack, snacks, etc.

We will provide the tools: pick axes, clippers/loppers, gloves, root bags

Typically, we will work a four-hour shift, from 8:00 to 12:00 but please let us know what works best for you.
