Summary/Goals: The purpose of jointly funding this collaborative effort with NCED, was to help promote our efforts to stimulate interest in the topology of rivers and watersheds. The area encompasses all of the main study areas SAHRA is engauged in as well as a majority of the Colorado River basin.
Activities and outcomes during past year:
We distributed over 700 at the 2006 Fall AGU convention, where we shared a booth with NCED. Several hundred more have been distributed to students and teachers at most major training events we have hosted in Arizona. NCED paid to have 2200 included in the journal of geoscience education.
Plans for the upcoming year:
I have about 400 in my office and will continue to give them to educators as well as sell through KT storefront operations.
