Summary/Goals:
A Master's program in water resources offered through the University of Arizona for middle managers in the Army Corps of Engineers and other water professionals.
Activities and outcomes during past year:
First class of 4 students arrived in Fall 2003 and 3 have graduated, 1 is completing the project. An additional 3 students started the program in 2004, 2 more began in 2005, and 1 student began in each of the 2006 and 2007 fall semesters.

Of the 11 total students, 6 have graduated and the other 5 are making progress.

UA's MEng program was awarded the first UCOWR award for education and public service at their annual meeting in July 2005.

Plans for the upcoming year:
Monitor and support current students as they do projects and complete off-campus course requirements. Continue working with state and federal agencies to establish fellowships to support their employees. ACE has been unable to provide promised levels of support, but has proposed another attempt.
